Kickoff
So, time to resurface! The company has burned my life for the last few years, far more intense than doing my Ph.D, pushed me to the limit and a bit beyond. But all is rolling well and gradually I've floated back up towards a normal life. Feels great to take a couple of weeks off, book the Plymouth ferry to Santander with a cabin, get on my big motorbike and head off, no plans for what to do when I arrive, South, East, West, let the bike decide. Pondering whether to burn it straight down to Gibraltar like I used to, or head over to Andorra or Vigo, who knows! Me in biker mode The big motorbike (BMW 1250RS) So I have a lush first night in a luxury hotel in Santander and in the morning decide to take none of those options, I'll head to Salamanca, one of my favourite cities in Spain and an easy day's ride away.
